Service Expectations

Evaluation Overview

We start with a comprehensive inspection, meticulously examining cables, connectors, motor caps, fans, switches, seals, and PC board connections for any potential issues. Following this initial assessment, the robot undergoes rigorous testing for repeatability, durability, and backlash over a continuous twelve-hour period, operating with a full payload through its entire range of motion. This ensures compliance with OEM repeatability standards. Afterward, we conduct a secondary inspection of the mechanical and electrical components and provide you with a detailed report of our findings.

Refurbishment Overview

Our meticulous refurbishment process covers every component of the robot and controller system, guaranteeing the final product meets or exceeds OEM specifications for durability and precision 

Mechanical Unit

  • In-depth cleaning of the mechanical unit.
  • Disconnection and cleaning of all cable connectors.
  • Cleaning of all contact pins and plugs.
  • Cleaning of drive components.
  • Lubricant replacement per OEM guidelines.
  • Robot mastering (if applicable).
  • Optional repainting of the robot.
  • Optional adjustment of over-travel limit switches.
  • Installation of witness marks.
  • Verification testing, repetitive cycles to ensure proper operation and secure cable connections before finalization.

Controller Cabinet

  • Comprehensive cleaning of the controller cabinet, both inside and out.
  • Detailed cleaning of the heat exchanger.
  • Inspection for any updates required by OEM engineering.
  • Removal and cleaning of all printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Cleaning of connector contacts.
  • Replacement of fan filters and, if necessary, cooling fans.
  • Installation of new batteries.
  • Optional removal of old files from the memory board.
  • Replacement of any missing covers.
  • Optional repainting of the controller.
  • Thorough functionality testing of the Teach Pendant.
  • Preparation for shipment
